Horseback Riding Lessons
If you want to improve your riding skills, Over the Hill Outfitters offers horseback riding lessons for riders of all abilities and all ages. If you have never been on a horse before, we can introduce you to the basics and make your first ride rewarding and safe. Intermediate riders may want to learn specific skills to improve their horse experience, such as how to open and close a gate from horseback. Advanced riders may have specific skills that they want to learn, such as lateral movement and body control.
We can offer weekly lessons for children. We can offer backcountry horsemanship and packing seminars for those wanting to get into the backcountry on their horses.
Most of our staff loves to teach and are available on a custom basis for horseback riding instruction.
